The solution came in the form of an ingenious design by Ren Alfred Chauvot: a reversible case that could be flipped to protect the dial during play. The Grande Taille (meaning "Large Size") was introduced as a larger version of the classic Reverso to accommodate contemporary tastes for bigger watches. The specific
